This weekend I listened to some oldies and some kids music. They were all good, for what they were. No surprises, nothing mindblowing. If you like Bo Diddley I think this album is probably a good one, but seeing how it is the first full Bo Diddley album I have ever heard I can't recommend it over any other, but he is dead, so maybe you should listen. I am not sure if the Everly Brothers are alive or not, so listening to this one is optional until I hear anything further. The Barenaked Ladies made a kids album, which I think is pretty standard these days for indie bands, ever since Dan Zanes made a bizillion dollars doing it. I thought it was OK, but my daughter was not really interested. All of them get a man sitting at attention in his chair.
